Access to the log cabins

To access the lodges, take the road that passes down the left hand side of the building as you face the main clubhouse. There is a 5mph speed limit through the complex. As you approach your designated log cabin you will find your parking space to the right. Please be careful on outside decking when approaching the main door as it can be slippery in wet weather.

bedding, towels and housekeeping

Lodges are self catered and bedding and towels are supplied fresh at the start of your stay.  Should you require the towels or bedding to be refreshed  or housekeeping during your stay, please ask at reception for this to be arranged.

Heating

Heating is on a timer and is often switched off during summer months. This can be altered by moving the setting under front cover ( 1=on 0=off).  The bathroom towel rail switch is on the bottom right hand side of the towel rail and the main cut off switch is in the corridor.

recycling

The complex is served by Devon Contract Waste, who operate a 'Zero to Landfill' policy. Under this scheme, providing food waste is separated from general waste, it will be sorted at their plant. The rubbish bin store is situated past the fifth cabin (Hazel).

hot tubs

We ask you to respect the hot tub policy listed here. Throughout your stay hot tub maintenance will be carried out by our team, but if you find any issues please contact reception. Altering the temperature on the hot tubs can cause it to go into sleep mode, so please leave the temperature as it is set as it will take 12 hours to reheat. Please keep the lid on the hot tub when not in use to maintain heat and prevent dust and dirt from contaminating the water.

appliances

We provide each log cabin with a wide range of appliances and equipment. Leaflets and guides on how to use these can be found in the drawer in the kitchen. If there is any missing items please report this reception so we can replace these. We’d much rather you let us know this at the beginning of your stay rather than the end so we can help resolve it before it affects your stay.

Noise

Fingle Glen is very a peaceful place, however that does mean noise can travel very fast! Please be respectful to other guests and keep noise to a minimum in the late evenings. If you are having any issues with other guests please let a member of the team know so we can help resolve this for you.
